New things for December

panegyric.jpg

Another delivery of work of mine this week with this new design for Savoy Books. Horror Panegyric is a small volume examining David Britton’s Lord Horror novels, writer Keith Seward being the founder of the web’s best William Burroughs site, RealityStudio, and also an author of avant garde erotic fictions which can be found at his Supervert site. The cover painting for this book was my Arcimboldo-style portrait of Lord Horror which originally appeared on the cover of Reverbstorm #3.

Thanks Thom. It’s only a slight piece of work by my standards (I’m so blasé!). Bigger things on the way next year.

Do you know when this comes out? I cannot seem to find it on the Savoy website.

Not sure when this is due but it’ll probably be early January. No one ever releases anything of minority interest after mid-November, it’s always best to wait for the seasonal madness to end.

Slight piece of work? It looks pretty darn amazing to me. You’re so talented!

Thanks Andrew. I should have said the book design was slight (compared to some of my previous jobs), the painting was a very tough piece of work! Arcimboldo is a hard act to follow.
