  1. Any country where the East and the West become inseparably intertwined, as is the case with Russia, will always have very interesting artwork. Whenever Dedalus finally release that damn book of Russian Decadence, I will probably wish it came in binding similar to those shown above with artwork throughout by someone in Kalmakoff’s caliber.

  2. Terrifically expensive as well, $55,995 for the Journey to the Orient. Yike.

    Wiley: I’ve often wished that about Dedalus books in general. They’ve improved a lot over the years but their early editions were pretty primitive considering the exotic contents.
