  1. My favourite has to be the second one. I can imagine having such a painting at home and visitors wondering why it is turned to the wall.
    The last one made me think a little about Julian Beever’s 3D sidewalk paintings.

  2. Cornelis Gijsbrechts seemed to specialise in trompe l’oeil although that one’s the simplest and cleverest. Seems very archly modern considering its age.

    I nearly included Julian Beever but his stuff was all over blogs a couple of years ago.
