El mundo al revés, a piece of folk surrealism from 19th century Spain. The sun and moon live under the earth, animals torment humans and fish fly through the air.

    This is an “Auca” is a leaf of paper divided in emblems, which represent a finished history and have explanatory phrases at the foot of every picture. They are a form of traditional expression of the Catalán literature.

    Ah, thanks. I’d noticed that they’re all numbered and so obviously follow one from the other.
