    which reminds me much of the illustrations that Pierre Joubert did for Serge Dalens’ “Prince Eric” (or the rest of the illustrations he made for the “Safari Signe de piste” collection) which were very much a celebration of the beauty of youth (masculine, more often than not).

    Hmm, never heard of Pierre Joubert before but then I doubt any of those books were reprinted here.

    Looks like a very contemporary picture still, as do a couple of the others.
