{"id":9997,"date":"2011-09-17T02:37:06","date_gmt":"2011-09-17T01:37:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/?p=9997"},"modified":"2011-09-17T02:37:06","modified_gmt":"2011-09-17T01:37:06","slug":"dirty-comics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/2011\/09\/17\/dirty-comics\/","title":{"rendered":"Dirty Comics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/dirty1-big.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/dirty1.jpg\" alt=\"dirty1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Dirty Comics<\/em>, subtitled <em>An Exhibition of Erotic Comic Art<\/em>, opens at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sexandculture.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Sex and Culture<\/a> in San Francisco next month, and I&#8217;m very pleased to say that I&#8217;ll have a piece of new work in the show. <a href=\"http:\/\/artbyjonmacy.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jon Macy<\/a> has been mentioned here a couple of times for his <a href=\"http:\/\/northwestpress.com\/teleny-and-camille\/\" target=\"_blank\">comic strip adaptation of <em>Teleny<\/em><\/a>, the notorious (and very erotic) gay porn novel attributed to Oscar Wilde, so he&#8217;s the ideal person to curate the exhibition. With <a href=\"http:\/\/www.damedarcy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dame Darcy<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patrickfillion.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Patrick Fillion<\/a> among the contributors there promises to be a high standard of work. I&#8217;m looking forward to seeing what everyone else has done.
