These tessellation designs are part of a sub-genre of abstract paper-folding that&#8217;s a long way from the traditional Japanese animal shapes. The examples here are by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/miura-ori\/collections\/72157600013560113\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ray Schamp<\/a> from his Flickr set.
