A recent delve unearthed this pair of vintage contortionists. The photograph above dates from circa 1880 and is from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/george_eastman_house\/\" target=\"_blank\">George Eastman House collection<\/a> at Flickr. Also at Flickr is a great set of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/oldeyankee\/sets\/72157624696238781\/with\/2696548579\/\" target=\"_blank\">vintage theatre posters<\/a> which includes the example below.
