A couple of these pieces remind me of Clive Barker&#8217;s throat-grabbing story, <em>The Midnight Meat Train<\/em>, which was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0805570\/\" target=\"_blank\">filmed<\/a> a couple of years ago. For an earlier cinematic example of the horror inherent in underground transport systems there&#8217;s Gary Sherman&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0068458\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Death Line<\/em><\/a>, or <em>Raw Meat<\/em> as it was fatuously rebranded for the US, a very effective low-budget film from 1972.
