Everyone knows <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcescher.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">MC Escher<\/a>&#8216;s pictures which continually played with the rules of perspective. <a href=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/4\/4c\/Hogarth-satire-on-false-pespective-1753.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Hogarth&#8217;s satire<\/a> is less well-known and may even be the first of its kind.
