Max&#8217;s formulation of the artist-as-brand was so extensive he makes those who attempted similar things look like slackers. Even Salvador Dal\u00ed didn&#8217;t have his own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collectorsweekly.com\/stories\/253722-original-1970-peter-max-psychedelic-lov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">breakfast cereal<\/a>. Hippy transcendence fused with naked commercialism.
