The contents of the tapes look like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=o4sjDZ2sGwg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a>. With the group having been silent for the past thirteen years there&#8217;s been an understandable flood of wild speculation on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/boardsofcanada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BOC Reddit page<\/a>, the supposition being that the tapes (and now an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/boardsofcanada\/comments\/1shqsh3\/poster_high_res\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">equally cryptic set of posters<\/a>) mean that a new record release is on the way. We&#8217;ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, here&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xN-1_LsxrFk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DJ Food&#8217;s <em>O Is For Orange 2025 (version 3)<\/em><\/a>, a Boards Of Canada-themed mix that I neglected to link to last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;There is no artistic process that isn\u2019t magical in that it\u2019s an attempt to magically conjure an idea, something that is invisible and intangible, into material form&#8230;&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/retrofuturista.com\/alan-moore-interview-magical-consciousness-disowned-works-and-the-long-london-quintet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alan Moore<\/a> (again) talking to Dominique Musorrafiti about art and magic.
