Dick giving a lecture on &#8220;orthogonal time&#8221;<\/a> to a small audience at the Festival International de la Science-Fiction, Metz, in 1977. Dick&#8217;s talks and interviews aren&#8217;t exactly scarce, but this one was of interest for me since I recently designed an edition of John Crowley&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/subterraneanpress.com\/great-work-of-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Great Work of Time<\/em><\/a>, a novella which involves a similar concept. If you were at the Metz Festival in 1977 you could also see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jGZtre27wss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a live performance by Cluster<\/a>. Lucky you.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;Our minds remain open when the LSD wears off.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/nautil.us\/our-minds-remain-open-when-the-lsd-wears-off-364196\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Paulson<\/a> on psychedelic drugs and their usefulness as therapeutic tools.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At Cartoon Brew: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartoonbrew.com\/know-your-indie-filmmaker\/know-your-indie-filmmaker-stephen-irwin-231243.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stephen Irwin&#8217;s animated films<\/a> &#8220;combine the influences of David Lynch, <em>Struwwelpeter<\/em>, and the Brothers Grimm.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Steven Heller looked at <em>NB3<\/em>, the third book about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.printmag.com\/daily-heller\/the-daily-heller-the-brody-bunch-volume-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neville Brody&#8217;s graphic design<\/a>.
