The latter is an uncharacteristic thriller from Blake Edwards with a marvellous, brooding score by Mancini. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=T13jRlD4iq4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here&#8217;s the main theme<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;Infinitesimal as they are, phytoplankton produce more oxygen than all the world\u2019s rainforests combined and roughly half of the oxygen on the planet\u2014in other words, roughly half of the air we humans breathe.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2022\/08\/the-importance-of-plankton.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Greer<\/a> on the importance of plankton.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;Someday I&#8217;ll come into a place and someone&#8217;s playing my music and I&#8217;ll leave immediately because I don&#8217;t want to go through the editorial process again!&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/thequietus.com\/articles\/32001-diamanda-galas-broken-gargoyles-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diamanda Gal\u00e1s<\/a> talking to Kevin Mccaighy about her new album, <em>Broken Gargoyles<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At Dennis Cooper&#8217;s: <a href=\"https:\/\/denniscooperblog.com\/25-experimental-horror-films\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">25 experimental horror films<\/a>.
