He enhances some of his pictures with subtle and artful digital manipulation, as with the photo above showing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toxicboy.net\/matt20.html\" target=\"_blank\">three incarnations of the same model, Matt<\/a>. The androgynous pictures in his \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.toxicboy.net\/darc.html\" target=\"_blank\">Maiden to Man<\/a>\u201d series merge gender in a way that few photographers\u2014gay or straight\u2014seem willing to explore, despite the possibilities that Photoshop suggests.
