The latter was based on a novel by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Krasznahorkai, an author who not only worked with Tarr on the screenplay but helped with several of his other features. So <a href=\"https:\/\/thebaffler.com\/latest\/dust-to-dust-wallace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this piece by David Schurman Wallace<\/a>, about a more recent Krasznahorkai novel, <em>Baron Wenckheim\u2019s Homecoming<\/em>, arrives at just the right moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <em>The Paris Review<\/em> unlocked its Art of Fiction interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theparisreview.org\/interviews\/2027\/italo-calvino-the-art-of-fiction-no-130-italo-calvino\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italo Calvino<\/a>. William Weaver and Daniel Pettigrew ask the questions. And at the same site: Ivan Brunetti on the deceptive simplicity of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theparisreview.org\/blog\/2019\/10\/23\/the-deceptive-simplicity-of-peanuts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Charles Schulz&#8217;s <em>Peanuts<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Halloween approaches so <a href=\"https:\/\/theamericanscholar.org\/this-is-what-terror-sounds-like\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sudip Bose<\/a> suggests 10 pieces of orchestral music to set the mood.
