His <a href=\"http:\/\/www.impawards.com\/1979\/nosferatu_the_vampyre.html\" target=\"_blank\">poster for Werner Herzog&#8217;s <em>Nosferatu<\/em><\/a> has been a favourite of mine ever since the film&#8217;s release, while some of his other works have featured here in the past. Still popular among Tarot users is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/2013\/06\/01\/palladinis-aquarian-tarot\/\">Aquarian Tarot<\/a> (1970), a deck published a few years after Palladini had helped with the production of the <a href=\"http:\/\/sweetjanespopboutique.blogspot.co.uk\/2012\/04\/linweave-tarot-1967-illustrations-of-hy.html\" target=\"_blank\">Linweave Tarot<\/a>. From the same period as the Aquarian deck is a set of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/2010\/08\/25\/palladinis-zodiac\/\">Zodiac posters<\/a>, all of which exhibit\u00a0Palladini&#8217;s distinctive blend of Art Nouveau and Deco stylings. In addition to posters, Palladini produced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isfdb.org\/cgi-bin\/ea.cgi?26931\" target=\"_blank\">book covers and illustrations<\/a>, and even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discogs.com\/artist\/2296323-David-Palladini\" target=\"_blank\">a few record covers<\/a>. A book collecting all of this work would be very welcome.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/ErotikusAHistoryOfTheGayMovie1978CaseyDonovanFredHalsted\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Erotikus: A History of the Gay Movies<\/em><\/a> (1974? 75? 78?): Fred Halsted presents a 90-minute history of American gay porn, from the earliest beefcake films to the hardcore of the 1970s, some of which Halsted also helped create. Related: <em>Centurians of Rome<\/em> [sic]: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/centurians-of-rome-how-a-bank-robber-made-the-most-expensive-gay-porno-flick-of-all-time\" target=\"_blank\">Ashley West and April Hall<\/a> on the bank robber who made the most expensive gay porno of all time.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/film\/2019\/may\/18\/too-old-to-die-young-review-nicolas-winding-refns-dead-eyed-la-nightmare\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Bradshaw<\/a> reviews <em>Too Old to Die Young<\/em>, a Nicolas Winding Refn TV series described as &#8220;a supernatural noir&#8221;. Sign me up.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Naomi Wolf\u2019s <em>Outrages<\/em> establishes the context for [John Addington] Symonds\u2019s desperate efforts to justify his own sexual feelings. Since he was born in 1840, he was 15 when the first edition of Walt Whitman\u2019s <em>Leaves of Grass<\/em> appeared, the same year that legislation in Britain streamlined the laws against sodomy and ensured that men found guilty of it served long prison sentences.
