The subject is a perennial one here, explored at length in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/2011\/10\/20\/looking-for-the-wild-boys\/\">this post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Lindsay Anderson&#8217;s <em>The White Bus<\/em> (1967), a surreal precursor to <em>If&#8230;.<\/em> and <em>O Lucky Man!<\/em>, will receive the high-quality BFI reissue treatment as part of the Woodfall Films portmanteau feature, <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.bfi.org.uk\/pre-order-red-white-and-zero-flipside-036-dual-format-edition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Red, White and Zero<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Radiophonic Workshop have composed the score for <em>Possum<\/em>, a horror film by Matthew Holness. The main title theme is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WtVk70KwtpE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. The film is released later next month.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Might I have written a sober affair, had I not been under the influence? Perhaps not\u2014I have never needed tramadol to be attended by angels, or to feel demons pricking my feet. But I think of Vincent van Gogh, who looked at the world through the yellowish haze conveyed by digitalis, and grew enraptured by sunflowers and straw chairs, and I think of a glass prism through which a beam of white light passes and is split into a rainbow.
