Ford, former editor of <em>Dagon<\/em> magazine, prompted a handful of memorial pieces. <em>Dagon<\/em> was notable for being a small British magazine devoted to Lovecraftian and other weird fiction (and the <em>Call of Cthulhu<\/em> games) at a time when the majority of such publications were American; it was also very well-produced, its later issues being typeset and filled with quality black-and-white illustration. <em>Dagon<\/em> interviewed many notable writers, including people such as Thomas Ligotti whose work at the time was still only known to a small group of enthusiasts. <a href=\"http:\/\/wormwoodiana.blogspot.co.uk\/2017\/11\/rip-carl-t-ford-editor-of-dagon.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Valentine<\/a> posted a reminiscence at Wormwoodiana; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yog-sothoth.com\/articles.html\/_\/main\/interviews\/carl-t-ford-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yog-Sothoth.com<\/a> has an interview with Carl from 2010.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/ultimateclassicrock.com\/michael-dikmik-davies-hawkwind-rip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael &#8220;Dik Mik&#8221; Davies<\/a>, manipulator of an audio generator and tape echo for Hawkwind, also died this week.
