(McLean&#8217;s interpretation may possibly derive from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isfdb.org\/wiki\/images\/2\/29\/CLCKWRKRNQ1965.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">a 1965 edition<\/a>.) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.librarything.com\/work\/1473\/covers\" target=\"_blank\">LibraryThing<\/a> has a collection of <em>Clockwork Orange<\/em> covers from around the world which run the gamut of cogs, orange hues and variations on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/2012\/10\/08\/design-as-virus-15-david-pelhams-clockwork-orange\/\">David Pelham&#8217;s famous Penguin design<\/a> from 1972. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/books\/2017\/feb\/25\/anthony-burgess-100-birthday-high-art-low-entertainment\" target=\"_blank\">AL Kennedy<\/a> celebrates 100 years of Anthony Burgess by examining the writer&#8217;s career as a whole, although the web feature still manages to get a photo of Malcolm McDowell in there.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;Even bad books can change lives,&#8221; says <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-tls.co.uk\/articles\/public\/overpriced-at-nothing\" target=\"_blank\">Phil Baker<\/a> reviewing <em>The Outsider<\/em> by Colin Wilson and <em>Beyond the Robot<\/em>, a Wilson biography by Gary Lachman.
