They were a super underground publishing house that printed cartoons and comic books, and they also released a series of underground dance records. And they were always being shut down by the police and all their stuff was being confiscated, because it was considered &#8216;anti-society&#8217; in England.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/thump.vice.com\/en_us\/article\/anohni-hopelessness-hudson-mohawke-oneohtrix-point-never-interview\" target=\"_blank\">Anohni<\/a> giving a shout to my colleagues at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.savoy.abel.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Savoy Books<\/a> in a new interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <em>Belladonna of Sadness<\/em> (1973), a feature-length animated film by Eiichi Yamamoto, has been restored, and is being given a premier release in the US. There&#8217;s a review <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/review\/belladonna-sadness-film-review-892748\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> and a trailer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=c9LUA3NgQN0\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. No news as yet of a UK release but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.finderskeepersrecords.com\/shop\/masahiko-sato-belladonna\/\" target=\"_blank\">Finders Keepers<\/a> has the soundtrack album.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/lareviewofbooks.org\/article\/the-most-beautiful-illusion\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alejandro Jodorowsky<\/a> talks to Daniel Kalder about his new novel, <em>Albina and the Dog-Men<\/em>, while Jodorowsky&#8217;s comic-book collaborator, <a href=\"http:\/\/smokyland.blogspot.co.uk\/2016\/05\/ladronn-jodorowsky-e-il-ritorno-di-el.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ladr\u00f6nn<\/a>, talks to Smoky Man about their new graphic novel, <em>The Sons of El Topo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Pretty little watercolours these are not.
