He also received a mention in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/2011\/09\/15\/screening-kafka\/\">Screening Kafka<\/a> post for his memorable animated portrait of Franz Kafka. <em>Walls<\/em> (1988) is another short film made just after <em>Academy Leader Variations<\/em>, and like all of Dumala&#8217;s films the images are created by scratching lines into painted plaster.
