These are a few examples from a set of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/britishlibrary\/sets\/72157639959761466\/\" target=\"_blank\">786 title pages<\/a> which range from elegant book plates to Dime Westerns and Penny Dreadfuls. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fantasticfiction.co.uk\/c\/robert-cromie\/plunge-into-space.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><em>A Plunge into Space<\/em><\/a> is a science-fiction novel about a journey to the planet Mars in a spaceship called The Steel Globe. Robert Cromie was also the author of <em>A New Messiah<\/em> (1901), and <em>The Crack of Doom<\/em> (1895).
