Via <a href=\"http:\/\/beautifulcentury.tumblr.com\/post\/36035852863\/what-floats-my-boat-german-magazine-engraving\" target=\"_blank\">Beautiful Century<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Much dismay this week at the news that Coilhouse\u2014the web and <a href=\"http:\/\/coilhouse.net\/magazine\/\" target=\"_blank\">print magazine<\/a> founded in 2008 by Nadya Lev, Meredith Yayanos and Zoetica Ebb\u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/coilhouse.net\/2012\/11\/dimming-the-lights-and-locking-up-at-coilhouse\/\" target=\"_blank\">was closing its doors<\/a> for the foreseeable future. I always loved what they were doing, and was delighted when <a href=\"http:\/\/ghoulnextdoor.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">S. Elizabeth<\/a> interviewed me for the website two years ago. Looking at the <a href=\"http:\/\/coilhouse.net\/featured\/\" target=\"_blank\">list of their featured articles<\/a> is like seeing the contents of my head laid bare. Have a browse and see what you may have missed. And fingers crossed they return soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;I think we are just used to seeing naked women because they are used as objects of desire in advertisements and TV. Naked men are not that common\u2014we are not used to seeing a penis.
