Lovecrafton is a Lovecraft-themed town in <a href=\"http:\/\/secondlife.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Second Life<\/a> created by illustrator <a href=\"http:\/\/inkyboy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">John Aardema<\/a>. As is evident from the screenshots, the atmosphere is suitably autumnal with the requisite Colonial architecture. I was slightly surprised by these views, almost everything I&#8217;d seen of Second Life in the past looked overlit and underdeveloped, giving the impression of a crude computer game.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.johncoulthart.com\/feuilleton\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/lovecrafton02.jpg\" alt=\"lovecrafton02.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Carter Family Homestead.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve not visited Lovecrafton but if you have a Second Life account you can access it via <a href=\"http:\/\/slurl.com\/secondlife\/New%20Toulouse%20Jardin\/139\/72\/26\" target=\"_blank\">this link<\/a>.
