This summer sees the fortieth anniversary of the <em>Ziggy Stardust<\/em> album&#8217;s release. For me the definitive artefact isn&#8217;t the album itself but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.5years.com\/zstmpremaster.htm\" target=\"_blank\">DA Pennebaker&#8217;s film<\/a> of the final concert from the 1973 tour; the songs really come alive and Bowie&#8217;s performance is overwhelmingly electric.
