The fibers of art and magic are woven so tightly together, it\u2019s often said that they are one and the same.\u00a0 Images are imaginal pictures.\u00a0 When we see something, a constellation of synapses fires, associations swirl, and new thoughts are born.\u00a0 We are altered \u2013 and what is magic, if not this?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The participants are\u00a0 Andreco<\/a>, Jesse Bransford<\/a>, Derrick Cruz<\/a>, Adela Leibowitz<\/a>, Jason Leinwand<\/a>, Tamalyn Miller<\/a>, Deborah Mills<\/a>, Annie Murphy<\/a>, Ouroboros Press<\/a>, Michael Robinson<\/a>, David Chaim Smith<\/a>, Fredrik S\u00f6derberg<\/a> and Hilary White<\/a>. I don’t think I’d seen anything by David Chaim Smith before, an artist whose drawings resemble the diagrams of 18th-century alchemical theorists propelled to new heights of elaboration.<\/p>\n
