Very belated!
Thought this might appeal to you: Steampunk R2 Is Cute As A Victorian Button (slightly off your usual aesthetic perhaps but I couldn’t resist the juxtaposition of steampunk with Star Wars)
I helped out in a small way with that new Moorcock book, preparing some of the pictures they used. Mike thanked me and the Savoy boys in vol. 1 which was very good of him.
I think I noticed the Steampunk R2-D2 on Boing Boing which rarely misses a new manifestation of Steampunkery. I’m quite amenable to it (less so to Star Wars), I even did a Steampunk T-shirt design recently at Jeff VanderMeer’s request which has yet to see the light of day.
