Damn, I forgot all about her tragic end. Well as you say, she lives on still, and Mouse & Kelley’s poster turns up regularly in histories of psychedelic art. Nice being able to trace these connections. I probably wouldn’t have seen those Weinman bronzes without doing this; now I want a set!

I knew nothing of this artist, really; so this was a very fascinating connection for me to see. I doubt Munson saw the poster, or much else, due to being institutionalized; but I have a feeling she would have liked it — if only to have resurfaced again & in such a rejuvenating manner; a way to keep the model alive and of value.

Then again, I never knew her and am only surmising based on what I’ve read — and some female intuition, of course.
