Don&#039;t think I&#039;d come across Tom Crites before but your description seems accurate given the octopus sex picture I just found. Nice b&amp;w work, there&#039;s a good page of examples here:

Speaking of which, I have recently been able to acquire a few issues of the long since out of print magazine, Malefact, edited by a little known artist going by Tom Fuckin&#039; Crites. His artwork in particular is not specifically Lovecraft related, but often Lovecraftian, in the most sleazy and viscerally depraved while still being artistic, way. Like an alchemical blend of Suehiro Maruo, Harry Clark, classical alchemy artwork, Aztec paintings, and exploitation movie artwork, his work is worth a look if you get a chance.</description>
